Matthew Arndt
President & CEO

After developing Internet marketing strategies for countless companies, Matthew Arndt discovered a big need for comprehensive digital marketing strategies that delivered consistent results and ROI. He founded Turbo Medical Marketing in 2009 to not just fill that need, but also provide a level of expertise and service offerings that are unparalleled in the industry.

Matt has always been “the techy entrepreneur”. Even in college, he started a successful company called “PackMyDorm”, a full service moving and storage company that was virtually based and operated out of Davis, CA in association with Bekins Van Lines. He operates Turbo under the same principles he teaches, which is why you’ll see him all over the social web in blogs, articles, videos and networks.

Turbo keeps him busy, but in his limited spare time, Matt enjoys traveling, SCUBA diving, swimming, sailing, snowboarding, and spending time with his family and friends. Matt was also a member of the UC Davis Men’s Varsity Swim Team. He still trains and competes in swimming and open water events and currently resides with his wife and daughters in Newport Beach, CA.

Tom Sullivan
COO

Tom joined Matt in 2010, helping co-found Turbo Medical Marketing. As COO, Tom oversees all production and works directly with both the executive team and the Account Managers. Tom has helped to formulate systems and processes for sales, business development, internal marketing, service offerings, client intake, and employee hiring and training.

You can get a sense of Tom’s marketing knowledge, as well as pick up some marketing tips and insights, by checking out the Turbo blog that he contributes to weekly. Tom has also spoken at several aesthetic conferences in the past about topics ranging from plastic surgery technology to mobile marketing.

Tom received his B.A. in Business Management Economics from the University of California at Santa Cruz. He is a former collegiate rugby player and and huge sports fan. Tom enjoys spending time with his wife Lindsay, son TJ, daughter Kelsey, and dog Yogi, as well as hiking, fishing, snowboarding, and surfing, and he’s also a mentor with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program in Charleston, SC.

Clayton Joyner
CTO, VP Sales

Clayton Joyner is a highly accomplished and results-driven Digital Consultant with over a decade of successful new business development, competitive sales/marketing, and business leadership experience. Clayton is a student of graphic design, Neuromarketing, User Experience(UX), and currently holds digital marketing certifications in both Customer Value Optimization and Customer Acquisition. Clayton’s primary pursuit is increasing his client’s market value through the strategic achievement of corporate goals and objectives. Clayton is both energetic and mission driven with a genuine passion for Customer Experience (CX). Finding the perfect balance between business development goals and ensuring optimal customer experience is a primary driver of his “win win” philosophy.

Chris Moore
CMO

Chris Moore is a two time best selling author on the topic of Facebook op of mind marketing and lead generation.  His thirst for knowledge and results continuously drive him towards becoming a better digital marketer and a better man.  Chris’ background is in Real Estate sales and marketing and lead generation for multiple industries.  Fun fact about Chris Moore, he was also a competitor on American Ninja Warrior Season 8 and he made it all the way to the Atlanta City Finals.  Chris’ competitive nature and unusual level of ambition is what make him a great fit for our Chief Marketing Officer here at Turbo Medical Marketing.

Charlie Baliman
Account Manager

Charlie Baliman is a graduate of Slippery Rock University where she received a bachelor’s degree in public relations, minoring in graphic design. Prior to working at Turbo, Charlie has gained years of hands-on experience working with clients inside and outside of agencies. Her current role and past freelancing positions have offered opportunities for growth in the digital marketing field. Charlie’s effective communication skills, creative ideas and results-driven attitude make her a great addition to the Turbo team.

Jaqueline Dean
Account Manager

Jaqueline graduated from the Art Institute of Charleston in 2018 with a degree in graphic and web design and has also earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. While Jaqueline was pursuing her education she worked as a freelance artist for a wide range of clients using multiple types of mediums. After graduating she was excited to pursue the digital marketing field. Jaqueline joined the Turbo Medical Marketing team in 2019 at the Charleston office and specializes in website updates as well as all client communication. She is always excited to engage with clients to discuss optimal and creative ways to improve websites. When Jaqueline is not at the office you can find her working on her art, traveling or at the beach.

Sophia El-Bayadi
Digital Content Specialist

Sophia El-Bayadi graduated from the College of Charleston in 2019 with a Bachelors’s degree in Communications. She is passionate about digital marketing and search engine optimization (SEO). Shortly after graduation, Sophia was hired on to be Turbo’s new Digital Content Specialist. Following a 3-month internship program, Sophia became certified by Google Analytics as well as experienced in keyword research tactics. This experience coupled with a desire to learn and evolve with the latest marketing trends makes her a valuable asset to our Turbo team.

Sophia currently works out of the Charleston office and is excited to begin her career as part of the Turbo team! When not at work, you can probably find Sophia playing tennis with her friends, getting outdoors to play with her new puppy, or baking up tons of goodies for the team.

Paige Marshall
Marketing Account Manager

Paige graduated from the College of Charleston in 2015 with a B.A. in Communication. Throughout her studies she honed her skills and passion for digital marketing with multiple internships in the marketing and graphic design fields. After graduation Paige decided to continue her education and completed an Associates of the Fine Arts degree in graphic and web design at the Art Institute of Charleston. In the past Paige has worked on multiple marketing campaigns, creating: landing pages, newsletters, email blasts and social media posts. Prior to joining the Turbo team Paige worked in the marketing department of a pharmaceutical and medical device consulting company. She aims to take her past experiences, combined with her creativity and positive attitude to ensure successful client work!

Paige works out of the Turbo Charleston office. Originally from Philadelphia, she really appreciates the Charleston weather! In her free time you will find Paige traveling, at the beach, sailing, or enjoying many of the wonderful restaurants that Charleston has to offer!

Karly Robinson
Quality Assurance Manager

Karly graduated from Gonzaga University in 2012 with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in Finance & Marketing. Shortly following graduation, she moved to Seattle, WA to join the Project Management team at Wunderman, a full-service creative agency. Karly has managed several digital campaigns for her past clients involving e-mail, landing pages, SMS, video and banners. This experience, coupled with a constant desire to learn and evolve with the latest marketing trends makes her a valuable asset to our Turbo team.

Karly works out of the Turbo Charleston office. Yes, she made the long drive from Seattle to move down South and could not be happier with the warmer weather! However, she will greatly miss the quick drive up to the mountains to hit the ski slopes. When not at work, you can probably find Karly at the dog park chasing after her welsh corgi, rearranging the furniture in her apartment, or hanging out with friends.

Sarah Smith
Project Manager

Sarah Smith is a graduate of Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations, minoring in sociology. She was attracted to marketing for her love of writing, relationship building and strategy. She has worked with clients in industries such as kinesiology, politics, hospitality, nonprofit and more. Sarah brings her experiences and enthusiasm to Turbo to create success for each new client that joins the team.

Sarah works out of the Turbo Charleston office. Originally from Indianapolis, IN, she loves the warm weather and southern hospitality of Charleston. She and her husband, James, have two miniature dachshunds and spend their free time taking in everything the Lowcountry has to offer.

Emily Williams
Email Marketing Specialist

Emily graduated from the Art Institute of Charleston in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. She interned with an internal marketing department at a hotel during her time at school, then obtained a job at a business newspaper right after college. After two years in the print industry, she decided to shift focus to digital marketing. Emily has worked in a variety of mediums and continues to broaden her design & marketing knowledge to better serve our client’s needs. 

Emily works out of the Turbo Charleston office. She grew up in the Charleston area and loves all that this city has to offer. Emily enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband and daughter.
