Latest MedSpa Web Development Project

We’re proud to announce the latest website design project to go live: Serenity MedSpa. This San Francisco-based practice, led by Dr.’s Lisa and David Kang, specializes in non-surgical cosmetic solutions, as well as wellness and anti-aging solutions.

The goal of this project was to “spruce up” the old website design, and more importantly, move it to an open source platform. In this case we developed the website on Magento, because it’s much more flexible for setting up an e-store and selling products than WordPress. That said, we still implemented a WordPress blog within the Magento framework. Here’s a run down of what this project entailed:

  • fully custom design
  • implement custom design on Magento and WordPress (for blog)
  • customized photo galleries
  • social media integration
  • full search engine optimization
  • full e-commerce capabilities

While we kept the color scheme similar, but we flip-flopped the background and accent colors. The new site has a softer green background with some design elements, with brown accents. We moved the call to action and actually added another, so people can either ask a question or request an appointment. While the top navigation was also simplified, we added additional links and buttons on the home page for patients to easily find what they want.
