Latest Website Conversion: Skin Cancer Specialists

Turbo has just completed its most recent website re-design, for the Skin Cancer Specialists, P.C. & Aesthetic Center, a dermatology and aesthetic business with several practices in and around the Atlanta, GA metropolitan.

The Skin Cancer Specialists came to Turbo in early 2016 looking for help with their website and marketing. At the time, they had no real marketing strategy and their website was built on Wix. After evaluating all of the content, Turbo and the client agreed that we could move the website to WordPress and keep the same “look & feel” with the branding, but dramatically improve the user-friendliness and features, as well as make it more modern and conducive to lead generation.

You can see from some of the before & after screenshots below that we focused on improving many areas, including the home page organization.

We also improved and added:

  • a better drop down menu
  • an improved header
  • a blog feed for the home page
  • a more organized list of affiliates
  • a review feed for the home page

Another key component of this project was improving the mobile layout. Our goals was to not only make the website mobile-responsive, but mobile-effective, particularly when it came to lead generation. The previous mobile layout technically would pass Google’s test for mobile-compatibility, but look how much more user friendly the new layout is below:

Beyond the visual improvements, we worked hard on improving the website’s content and search engine optimization. The site was severely lacking content for many of the treatments, and in some cases, was linking out to 3rd party websites. Turbo worked to beef up the content and get it all optimized for better search engine visibility.

Lastly, the website had no Google Anlytics tracking at all when we first connected. The new website not only has Analytics installed, but it has conversion tracking, as well as conversion tracking for each of the mobile calls to action, including tap to email and tap to call (for each location)!
