Plastic Surgeon Website Re-Design Project

Our latest project was a website re-design for a plastic surgeon in Boston, MA. A long time client of Turbo, Sean Doherty, MD was in need of a website facelift. The old website was built on WordPress, making the update a little easier.

The project started with a design phase, where Turbo created mock ups for the home page and inner page layouts. We kept the color scheme and some of the branding elements the same, but our goal was to modernize the look and feel, opening up the site, improving the navigation, and upgrading the mobile responsiveness.

Here are some of the features of the new website:

  • custom design
  • fully “responsive” design with “sticky” mobile calls to action
  • social media integration
  • full search engine optimization
  • a blog
  • Turbo photo gallery (still in progress)
  • web forms for improved lead generation
  • improved navigation for seamlessly accessing individual pages

You can see the difference in the before and after screen shots below (or check out a live of the website here). Notice that the new website is not only better looking, but more functional.

You can also see the dramatic improvement with the mobile site. The old website was technically “mobile responsive,” but it wasn’t very mobile friendly. Our “sticky footer” has helped dramatically increase conversions for our clients. Notice the tap to call and convenient email slide out form.

He's also a mentor with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program in Charleston. Tom lives with his wife Lindsay in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
