Another Plastic Surgery Website Launch

We’ve just launched yet another website in April, this latest is for Robert Aycock, MD, FACS. Dr. Aycock is a renown, board-certified plastic surgeon in the San Francisco Bay Area – with practices in Greenbrae and Walnut Creek – that’s been in practice for over 25 years.

Dr. Aycock had worked with several other digital marketing agencies in the past and a common issue was fragmentation. One company would handle SEO, another AdWords, and another website management/hosting. These companies all ended up competing against each other, leading to lackluster results.

Our initial goal was to up re-design the website to give it a more modern look, and then focus on driving traffic to the website. Click here to visit the new website. Here are some of the features of the new website, which we developed on WordPress:

  • fully “responsive” layout with “sticky” mobile calls to action

  • improved navigation for seamlessly accessing individual procedure pages
  • Turbo photo gallery (in development)

  • blog integration
  • web forms for improved lead generation
  • fully secured via SSL

You can see the difference in the before and afters below. The old website had more of a boxed-in look, a cluttered look, and limited mobile effectiveness. We re-organized the navigation, opening it up to allow for patients to find procedures by the specific area of the body they treat.

Some of the inner pages not had some formatting issues, but they also were very text-heavy. While this can help with SEO, it makes the page very lengthy. Therefore, we added anchor links at the top of the page so patients can easily find details about the procedure…

On mobile, the you can see the old site screenshot on the left, compared to the new screenshot on the right. We’ve improved the ease in which tap to call both practices, email, view the gallery, and find directions to the both practices, no matter where you are on any given page…
